Description

We want seven cartoon characters created in a single graphic of approximately 1200 x 1000. The characters will be Fox, Cat, Dog, Owl, Turtle, Duck, and Rabbit. The characters will be used with children ages 5 to 8 years and must be appropriate to that age group. Characters will be used to illustrate beginning reader's stories. Characters will need faces that can express various moods and emotions and have bodies that can perform various actions such as running, jumping, sitting, sleeping, etc. The characters will come from "settings" or perform in settings. The background settings will be independent images on which characters can be "superimposed" (pasted) on top. In short, we want to create a community of lovable characters and the environment in which they live and interact. Animal characters will have human characteristics like ability to stand upright, talk, listen, use their hands, etc.
