Subject: CLEVERCLICKER Hey there Lookout. My name is Todd Pearl. I've read through your project description and I'm clear on what you need. I also am responding to your desire for a little zany-ness, aka. zany mind Your project certainly fits my skillset to a 'T'. I'm both an accomplished illustrator and graphic designer and full-time wing nut. Professional Wing Nut! Hell, I'm willing to lower my rate for a juicy project. Call that crazy. Anyway, I pride myself in my exceptional madness to create characters/mascots/company icons that are not only full of 'character' and charm, but more importantly, I know how to design these 'spoke persons/'children' to fully communicate ones vision/marketing plan, etc. Obviously, I won't direct you to my site, as you'll want to find it yourself once I post a sample of my work. I don't normally do work on spec, however I'm intrigued by your overall job description and more importantly the point of it being fun... because, if you're not having fun... what's the point. I'm crazy busy, but I can get you a sample of my take on our friendly superhero by the weekend. Anticipating the possibility of you hiring the Todd Man... I'd like to address a couple of your bullet points now. We'll need to discuss file formats needed based on your ultimate usage. (Vector vs. Bitmap) Web, merchandising, etc. I'd like to present 3-4 initial ideas vs. the 5 you're asking for. I'm confident we can initially determine direction with that number... and, as we proceed to a more comprehensive phase, getting it right until final art production. Also, your 3D style request... aka. Shrek style? Shading, tone, lighting. I'd like to see something closer to "The Incredibles" Lastly, given it's our first time working together. For this first time, I would like partial payment from the escrow once comprehensive layouts are approved. Then the balance paid upon delivery of final files.
