Hi!

We are an NGO dedicated to teach communication to young people (18-26 y.o). what we do is training, conferences, summer camps an other projects, as we teach communication from verbal effective communication to visual and non-verbal communication. Our acronym is V.O.I.C.E.

So, we need a good logo, that really "communicates" ;) what we do. And we have no idea how it should look like, except that it must have the color red in it.

showing your portfolio is great, and we will check it out, but we would love more to see your idea on our logo. it is ok to make it small and watermarked, we won`t use it unless we choose you as provider.

Please do not bid very high, as we are an ngo (a.k.a - not for profit organisation) so we won`t be able, and won`t be allowed, to pay very much. Thank you and good luck & inspiration.

Hi!

We have received so many bids and so much enthusiasm, that i feel there is a need to bring you some extra information, in order to avoid misundertandings or disapointment due to high expectations. Also, we have been asked by some providers to give more info (aparently, it was not that obvious that the name is VOICE and that we deal with YOUTH and COMMUNICATION).

I just want to say that I have checked ALL the portfolios and the samples. I might not have gone to all the sites that you made, but i checked every link that said "a portfolio/logo collection is here", and all the attached samples. I`ve seen amaging works, truly awesome. I went through this "documentation" in order so find something about to be able to say "this is what we want". And that would even have been easier for a designer, to adapt something already made. Unfortunally, some awesome work don`t fit our profile, while those that fit the profile, we`re not that catchy. Yes, we are picky and do not belive we haven`t try making one of our own before posting the project... :(

We are interested not that much in th execution, as in the IDEA. The keyworks would be VOICE (name) and YOUTH/Young people and COMMUNICATION/effective masage delivery and RED/any nuance found fit in any combination.

So right now we put out hope in mock-ups. We have received some. Some we like all around, in some we fall in love with some elements and some, well... less succesful...
But all mock-ups will be presented at the Board Meeting!!!

We realize that for a freelancer, the best project goes like this: bid/get chosen/produce/get paid, and all in 48 hours or even sooner. But for NGO`s working with fundings, things are going much slower. We have to explain everything and use the most "efficient" resource. And all has to be aproved with a board meeting. I am only the PR Manager (1/7 of board).
And the next board meeting is in 10th of may, so please do not expect a definitive answer until then.

Also, the maximum fee we will be allowed to pay is the "Average Bid" amount. For now, it is 45$, but it might change according to how much other providers might bid until then. If you cannot see the number (i know i have hidden the bids...), let me know and i`ll post a screen shot.

OK... now... all those being said, let me remind you that the choice will be made on what we receive, priced up to the average bid amount. And we`re not really in that much hurry (until 10th of may).
