I am a fellow game enthusiast who is looking for side work. I am not very experienced with graphics, and usually rely on Paint to create my images. However, I think I may be able to help you create some images for 8-bit games, and some of the games you listed as examples are my favorites (I enjoy Burger Time way too much :) ). I can do this. I myself create games as a hobby. I have plenty of experience in creating the sprites. It's actually quite easy, and I can help give you some pointers on how to create them yourself too.
