Description
The hardest part of getting started with GAF is getting your first job, right?So here’s my special offer to you new-to-GAF freelancers. This project will only be awarded to freelancers that don’t have any reviews and want their first job.
The basic problem is that I need a logo. While I’m willing to pay a firm the traditional $150 - $250 to make one, I’m just as willing to pay ten new people $20 each. (If I select do select your logo, I’ll kick in an extra $50 after you send the files.) So I’m going to open this on a single bid – the only thing you can bid is $20 for this job – and I’m going to choose the ten providers that a) have the best portfolio or b) seem like they really want the opportunity.
Why am I doing it this way?
There’s one big benefit to me: I get to see a whole bunch of logos. I’ve got the right brand name, but I need the right logo/typeface combination. I’m willing to go the extra mile (ten escrow payments, sorting through lots of portfolios, etc.) to see the extra logos.
There’s also a big benefit to you: you get the all-important first review and you get real, meaningful feedback that other buyers can read, which makes you a more effective bidder in future auctions for work.
Good deal, right? I think so. If you take this job, you’ll get $20 from me and a chance at $50 more. I’ll expect 12+ full-color logos from you. (Details on the brand name and logo will be given after I select the providers.)
At the conclusion of the project, I will write honest feedback on the quality of the output. If you’re going to spend twenty minutes designing twenty logos on the back of a napkin, you can expect your feedback to reflect that. If you do thorough, creative work that’s impressive, well-considered and fast, I’ll tell the world about that, too. Next time you bid, you can tell people "I'm new here, but I got great feedback on my last project."
This project is open until Sunday, October 11th and invite people to the project by midnight my time (GMT – 7). Your work should be submitted by midnight GMT, Sunday, October 18th.
