Description:	I'm looking for either a new logo or revised version of my existing company's logo. I had posted a project for an entire corporate identity project but i wasn't too happy with the response. So i'm now looking for a good logo which meets my standards as set out in my logo philosophy- which i will share with shortlisted candidates. here's what you need to do to get shortlisted: 1. send me your portfolio link (please don't send me tons of links, i'm sure you too would hate to navigate through a 100 links to find something) 2. send me your lowest bid. I'm in a rush and will just simply reject anything that is disinteresting and too high. I'm hoping i can get the job done between $20 and $50. (i did earlier) once shortlisted, i'll show you my philosophy and ask you for a draft or two. DON'T BOTHER BIDDING IF YOU DON'T FEEL COMFORTABLE WITH THIS CONDITION. if they are good, i will negotiate price with you where i feel it is necessary. I would ideally like to pay through paypal or something so if you are ok with that, plus points to you. the project could get expanded into a web design + business card project also, so if you get the price+quality right, there may be more business for you. i will negotiate in PMB, AFTER the logo is finished. Thanks to all those who have provided the relevant information and PMs. I am actually very impressed with a lot of your portfolios. I am now shortlisting and negotiating with the shortlisted candidates in PMB. As i mentioned in the original document, i will be askign for drafts. A lot of vendors do need read requirements properly- if you're not comfortable with the drafts, i request you to please withdraw your bid ASAP, so it leaves out the hassle of talking to people who are not interested. 05/30/2008 at 3:41 EDT: I also want to add regarding mockups/sample drafts, etc. I think i owe the shortlisted candidates an explanation as to why i'm looking for a draft based on my company. The idea is to see if the designs you have shown me as samples are: 1. representative of actual capability which can be replicated on demand. 2. i have hired people in the past who had great portfolios but when it came to my logo, weren't able to do the job i needed. hence, i'm just trying to secure our positions by avoiding conflict later on. If we are on the same page, i will surely hire you- your mockups will not be misused. 05/30/2008 at 6:35 EDT: Wow, i didn't realize i could close the project this quickly. i'm updating the project here cos i don't want to write each of the individual shortlisted candidates seperately- i've shortlisted 8 of you and i'm waiting for the drafts/mockups from 3-4 of you. Once that is done i can award the project. For those who want to take some time to provide the mockups, please let me know so i will wait for you. Remember, a mockup does not have to be a final design, even some ideas in words or a hand drawn sketch can do the job. 06/02/2008 at 5:40 EDT: Hi, I'd like to thank all those vendors who bothered to read my project details and bid accordingly, and i'm going to close the project very soon with 2-3 shortlisted vendors. I wanted to wait a day or two for those vendors who had promised drafts, but i guess i've waited enough. I'll be making final negotiations by PMB today and tomorrow and making a decision shortly. I'm likely to select 2-3 vendors and may open projects for those vendors separately. Thanks
