Description

Start-up company promoting sustainability, renewable energy and healthy lifestyle seeks graphic design help. I can only conceptualize my ideas, and am TERRIBLE at photoshop. Regardless, I have included an attachment of how I am envisioning this logo.

Background: Green Machine is a company that promotes healthy living and renewable energy initiatives through a variety of channels. The logo I envision incorporates some element of naturalism/nature along with the idea of a machine, see the attached picture of the cog (important). I favor simplistic design, and envision plain green text with the cog shape incorporated in the (g) and other rounded letters perhaps, but predominately the first letter, to insinuate a hybrid between man and nature/machine and nature. Simple is better, but I am open to some interpretation to incorporate a more naturalist feel.

****I am pitching this as a first time poster and therefore am calling it a 'very small project'. However, after this initial project, which I see as more of paying for samples, we will be seeking a LARGE AMOUNT of design work to support our company's initiatives as our business moves forward. THERE WILL BE A LOT MORE WORK****

My name is Claudia Mesquita. After working for 13 years in a major Portuguese Graphic Company (Ambar, SA) in the Investigation and Development department as a artist and graphic designer, I started to work as freelancer in this area. I've got a long experience of drawing (manual or vectorized art) photo mask and retouching, editing and in final arts. I have got a degree in Marketing Management from the Portuguese School of Marketing and Administration (IPAM) and I completed professional formations in Photoshop, Freehand and QuarkXpress. I've a long experience with Illustrator and Indesign Adobe software too. I've also attended a workshop called "Drawing in Action", by the Arts School of Vila nova de Cerveira.
