Description

We are opening a new online book store, and we would like a logo to go with it. We already have in mind what we want. We are just looking for someone to create it for us. Here are the details:

1.) It will be an image of a half opened door. You will be able to see stairs going down through the half opened door. The stairs would be going down. On three of the stairs would be the words "down stairs books." So on one stair would be the word "down" the next stair would be the word "stairs" followed by the word "books" on the next stair. The stairs can be going down straight or going down at a curved angle.

2.) We want it to have the dark erie feeling. Sort of like when you open the door and the stairs lead to your basement. We want the use of shadows on the stairs. So when you are looking down the stairs, you only see faint outlines for the stairs. Maybe add a railing on the stairs. The railing would also hardly be seen. The door should be white. The entire color scheme should be black and white, except the lettering. So the door, stairs, and railing would be white, and everything else would be black. The letters would be a mint light green.

The requirements above are just guidelines. Feel free to create it any way you want, as long as the idea above is maintained.

For people who are interested in this job, we would like the following:

1.) Some kind of portfolio or examples of your work.

2.) BIG PLUS: It would be nice if you could show us some examples of our new logo we want done. You can watermark your images if you like, or do anything you would like to your images to make you feel safe and comfortable. Different font, door, stairs, or any other variation you can add to the image examples you send us is another huge plus.

Update to color of font: If you can show two examples with the font being a light mint green, and make another example of having the font be a light gray, that would be great!
