Description
We have our own custom CMS that we need a custom flash player for to play FLV movies. The player will need to have a few unique features such as being able to play more than one movie at a time.The player should be able to play between 4 and perhaps 49 movies at a time. The maximum of 49 will depend on usability of the player and may not be a realistic amount for users to stream so the maximum may end up being lower.
When the user clicks a movie thumbnail below the player the player should make room for and start playing that other movie too. The player should be able to re-size the currently playing movies to make room. We would also like to be able to close the movies playing inside the player to make room for new ones or if the user does not like one of the movies.
The player should be able to skip ahead through the videos to parts it has not downloaded yet. The movies are streamed from lighttpd with the streaming module which another movie player is currently able to skip through.
We have our own custom CMS that can already search and display thumbnails, etc. We will probably need ajax to let the user search for thumbnails around the player to add more videos to the player without reloading the page the player is on and without using any kind of iframes.
