Hi All -

Basically, I need to change some existing flash files so that they have a certain function. I have 6 SWF files ( i have the FLAs also) that cycle pictures and links by calling the next SWF file.

The issue is that these same flash files will be used on many many websites, so i need the flash files to somehow know what the URL is in the addrss bar, remove the begining of the url, and link to just the end.

For example, both of these sites will have the flash image on the main page. When you click a link on one of the pages, it must ensure that it doesnt go to the other page. The links are the same after the .com/ but we must fix this.

but because of the link issue, we had to take down the file.

if you know flash and some actionscript, this would be a big help to me. I have many more projects for the right programmer here!

To also mention, this unique website requires that the SWF files are auto-renamed when uploaded, so we may need to upload 6 files, then obtain these renamed names, and point the first file to these..
