Project Description

Founded in 2006, we are a small health and safety training company.

Our main website already lists a full range of products, including a video preview system.

We now require the development of a small, dynamic flash website for a safety training programme about wild meerkats in the Kalahari Desert, Africa. The programme is about meerkats in their natural environment and explains how they facilitate a unique system of teamwork to stay safe.

The site will be visually appealing and use flash to create an exciting, interactive package that promotes our already established product.

We'll also need a basic CMS for adding/changing text, videos and images.

Illustration

Imagery and menus should be illustrated in an African ‘safari’ style, in-keeping with the theme of the programme.

Some simple Meerkat illustrations will appear throughout the site. These should be designed to appeal to an adult audience (rather than being a children’s cartoon character).

There should also be illustrations of appropriate trees and foliage included (possibly as foreground imagery) to represent the African desert setting (details provided).

Animation

All menu’s should include some movement. The background imagery, foreground foliage and meerkat illustrations should also have some movement during transitions between each section.

Video

We will provide a series of short clips in FLV format to be used throughout the site. Users will be able to view these clips/previews via an embedded video player, such as JV Player.


Audio

Menu buttons should have a subtle sound function. There should also be FX accompanying any movement between sections.
