Description: I am looking for a developer who is capable of producing a very high quality and visually effective interactive map interface. The interface will be the front-end to a new website development project. I prefer Flash development for this, but open to other suggestions. Once completed it must be easy for me to maintain and add information, I'm only looking for the initial design, and then for it to be handed over to me for updates and maintenance. I used to be a developer myself but haven't enough experience in Flash to produce this from scratch. Take a look at the map on bermuda.com, that is the kind of thing I'm aiming at, but for another island (3,500 square miles). The interface must display full screen. Allow scrolling and zooming. Be capable of showing different kinds of information. e.g. The location of Historic Sites, the location of Hotels, the location of Golf Courses. Realistic quotes please (including everything - I don't want any surprises). Please also have a portfolio of existing website work I can check out, or a very good reason for not having this. Happy to provide further details to help get this off the ground.
