Description
This application will be upgraded upon in the near future and must be created in a scalable fashion to support enhancements. Full code documentation is expected. Looking for a very creative user interface. Must show great graphical skills in your portfolio.Specs:
Need a Kiosk web application written in Silverlight-WPF C#, or Flash that lives in the browser. The application should be download from the web and live in a browser control on a main C# hosted application. Application will run on Windows XP. The data store is a Sql Server 2008 database.
Application should be very clean and professional, with professional sound. All interaction will take place on the touch screen as there is no keyboard interaction once the kiosk application is loaded. Looking for smooth and creative screens and transitions.

Features:
Before the application can be downloaded credentials must be provided on the website first. Once access has been verified the application can then be allowed to be downloaded. The user name and password will be authenticated against an administrators table in the database given.
The application should go into screen saver mode when idle for a configurable amount of time. If a user is logged in at the time of screen saver mode that user should be logged off. Screen saver mode should be configurable to show static images or flash videos. Static images should be displayed for a configurable amount of time.
When the user touches the screen it should direct them to log in using a username and password. You will authenticate this against the database that I will provide you.
Once logged in a generic audio should play welcoming them to the application name (ETrainer Central).
The first screen they should see when logged in should have the users photo on it with options of what action they would like to perform. (Audio should ask them "What action that would like to perform")

View Workout
View body stats.
View workout progress reports
Logout = log current user out and moves into screen saver rotations
All screens will have a section on the left hand side for advertising space(approximately 210px350px). This space should allow for me to plug in a Google Aadsense java script tag.
Home screen = first screen a user sees when logged in. It should have the users photo (from database), and options of the possible actions they can select from.
View Workout Screen = this screen should feed parameter values to a sql server report (ssrs) (report is already built). I will provide the URL to the report later. Users should be able to choose parameter values in a very clean and user friendly manor. Once a report is shown the user should be able to print the report. This screen cannot use the built in parameter and print button features of ssrs because this is a touch screen application and the UI needs to be consistent with the feel of the application. Plus the UI that ssrs provides is not suitable for a touch screen application. User should have ability to navigate back to the parameter screen change to change values.
View Body Stats Screen = this screen should go to the database and retrieve possible Body Stat Type values for the logged in client to see his or her body stats. If the user doesnt have any information in the database for the particular body stat type it should not be an option to choose from. Once the user chooses and body stat option a screen should appear with the users body stat photos and associated stat data. Users should be able to choose 2 6 stat photos and choose to compare them and the application should transition into body stat comparison mode showing the comparable photos and info side by side. At this point the option to print should be available.
View Workout Progress Screen = this screen will have the option of choosing from about 10 ssrs reports (reports already created). The reports reside on the report server and the Url will be provided later. Once the user chooses which report he or she would like to view a screen should come up letting them choose the parameters for the report Ex (Start date, End Date) Again all report parameters interfaces must be custom built and submitted via runtime because this is a kiosk application and must keep that feel through the whole application. Some of the reports may drill down to other reports, but this functionality is handled by the report it's self. User should have the option to print these reports as well.
Screen Saver Mode = Once the user or the application is idle for a configurable amount of time it should go into screen saver mode. This mode will cycle through static images and videos that have been uploaded to the database using a back-end kiosk configuration tool. The screen saver should loop through the ad spots until user interaction. There can be up to 15 ad spots.
Backend Configuration tool = This tool should be created using C# and be a regular windows forms application. It should allow me to add, update, delete, and retrieve a list of kiosk. Information that will be stored is below: Once a Kiosk is added or choosen you should
KIOSK Table (already created)
KioskID = (int type auto generated identity)
UrlAddress = (varchar(120) location of the kiosk web application)
Active = (boolean to be used by the Kiosk website) on every request to the web-server if this value becomes inactive the kiosk should only be able to be in screen saver mode and secure access mode. If the Kiosk becomes inactive the only interaction should be the secure access screen a which point on submit the kiosk should check the active status again to see if it can function regularly again.
StoreID = (int foreign key references a store table)
There should also be a KioskAd table that has a foreign key relation to the Kiosk table.
It should allow me to choose from a list of kiosk in the system and enable me to configure them. I should be able to upload flash movies or static images in the rotation spots; up to 15 per kiosk. These should be saved to the database. These ads spots will be used by the kiosk application during screen saver mode.
This tool should allow me to configure how long the static images display for (in seconds) before moving to the next ad slot.
The SSRS Reports that are already created were not created by a graphic designer. All reports accessed from the kiosk application must be re-skinned to reflect the Kiosk application design.
