Description

The GlobalVote has two short videos that need to have the sound (re)designed. We are looking for a catchy copyright-free tune for the GlobalVote to put under our video and cartoon.

One is animated and plays on our site using flash; for the other video we shot a series of interviews and other footage and the editor added some text and music. They are both available on youtube and will be included in our website (www.theglobalvote.org) once the sounds are satisfactory.

For the cartoon, we want to clean up or replace, if needed, all the sound effects – limousine engine, car door closing, footsteps, man mumbling, hum of lots of people discussing – if you can use the current sounds then please go ahead. We’d also like to add some simple background music. It should be short and original (without a copyright).

For the video, we want a short (section of a) piece of music, also original, to use as background music for this video, same reqs as for the cartoon. If possible, we would like to cut out the wind noise/static and smooth out the audio transitions, but absolutely must keep the interview voices intact.

The GlobalVote is a non for profit based in the US and the Netherlands, running on contributions and volunteers. Unfortunately, one result is that our budget is limited, for this work, to about $100, with a little bit of flexibility. With your bid please submit a short summary of how you would improve the sound design for each of these videos, including details of the background music you’d use.
