Description

Summary: Create an MS Excel 2007 spreadsheet that checks if our websites are showing up in Google, Yahoo and MSN Pay Per Click (ONLY). If, for a keyword our site does not show up, excel sends an email to relevant parties. The sheet uses Google, Yahoo and MSN API keys.

Details: Assume a computer with MS Excel 2007 and MS Outlook 2007. In one excel sheet user types the three engine API keys and email address of warning email recepient. In another sheet, user types a website and X keywords associated with that website. In another table, user lists other websites and Y keywords.

The sheet queries each engine for each listed keyword and the corresponding website, if the website is not found in PPC results, the sheet, using outlook emails the recipient the keyword, the corresponding site and the engine. If all keywords appear in search engines, no email is sent out. The engines are queried thrice a day, in 8 hour intervals.

This project will also help us build relationship for future contract work.
