Description

We'd like an excel macro that can be run with Excel 2003 or newer and will do the following:

The project should include all required source code, installation and usage instructions.

As a test, please include in your response the 6th file that would be generated given the input test file and assuming that the user had selected "All". We will delete bids without this sample output file as well as any bids that suggest that the provider did not read these notes carefully.

Assume the spreadsheet is currently open in Excel. The spreadsheet has a worksheet called “account_list”. A sample is attached. You can assume the account_list has 3 header lines, and is then sorted alphabetically by the value in Column A.

Provide a list of the unique values in Column A or “All”. Allow the user to select 1.

Skip the first 3 lines of the account_list worksheet.

For each grouping of rows with the selected value in Column A or for each value in Column A if “All” was selected, do the following:

Create a new spreadsheet with a single worksheet called “infrastructure”

Copy fields from the input worksheet to the output worksheet as described in the detailed instructions (attached).

Save the copy as an Excel 5.0 worksheet, with the name "<column A value>_infrastructure_<yyyy>-<mm>-<dd>.xls in the same directory as the original. <column A value> should have all spaces replaced with underscores. <yyyy> is the current 4 digit year. <mm> is the current 2 digit month. <dd> is the current 2 digit day.

For the same rows, create another new spreadsheet file with a single worksheet, called “property”

Copy fields from the input worksheet to the output worksheet as described in the detailed instructions (attached).

Save the copy as an Excel 5.0 worksheet, with the name "<column A value>_property_<yyyy>-<mm>-<dd>.xls in the same directory as the original. <column A value> should have all spaces replaced with underscores. <yyyy> is the current 4 digit year. <mm> is the current 2 digit month. <dd> is the current 2 digit day.
