Description

We are looking for a solution to filter data in large excel or CSV documents according to a certain logic.

Column A and B both contain data.

Filter Column A for duplicates and delete all rows except for the row which has the highest value in column B.

An example data sheet (before & after) will be provided.

Your solution should work with MS Excel 2003.

See example below. Note than some rows are duplicate, but have the same value in column B. In this case, there is no highest value, the script or macro should just pick the first (or any) value.
