Best regards, Paul Brown __________________ We are looking for some people who can read construction documents and do takeoffs of the structural steel for us on an ongoing basis. We expect no drawing, no design, no research, and no estimating...only to open the drawing set, to tally the structural steel and the miscellaneous metals, and to create a BOM (Bill of Materials) in some spreadsheet format. We just want to know how many pieces of steel...description, quantity, size, location and detail reference, if any. Do not include studs or rebar. Detail drafting may be a possibility in the future for the right person, but that would be a totally different project and pay scale, and is not part of this solicitation.
