Description

We need professional advises on how to understand parameters of Analogue adaptor (ATA)
Exemple
Ring_Waveform "Trapezoid" ; # options: Sinusoid/Trapezoid
Ring_Frequency "25" ;
Ring_Voltage "85" ;
CWT_Frequency "440@-25" ;
Synchronized_Ring "Yes" ;
FXS_Port_Impedance "270+750||150nF" ;
We want to understand well each parameter and how could we find one correct for most of phone handsets in Belgium and Europe and understand waht will be required to modify if that kind of problem encountered.
In exemple : we face a problem with incoming calls that ring only once (or not) on the handset but still seems to ring but we hear nothing. It seems also that we have a customer that broke twice the ATA due to his telephone (impedance, ring voltage??)

Bid is for about 1 or 2 days advises (we woul dlike to have this advise by chat so we can try at the same time + documentation

Budget 40$ but only electric or tronic engineer with sound knowledge of telephony

I have the related ETSI standards - and did 2 projects on this issue - one ring tester for siemens and a line adapter which transforms new extension signaling to old pulse dial extension. But keep in mind that _SIEMENS_ had even _MORE_ than _10_ _hardware_ versions to support every f*ck*ng country in europe - but - lucky as you are - there are some ETSI harmonizations now. rgds.
