Bid On This Project

Description

Some time ago we outsourced a project to a freelancer who worked good at the beginning, but then suddenly he disappeared while leaving us with an unfinished project and no support.

So what we need:
- we will provide you with a schematic of a pcb (in Protel/Altium format) that needs improvement; you need to improve the schematic while you can even remove and replace some of the components when you strive to make the original device consume very little power (it is battery powered) while now that is not the case; if you think the current schematic is no good you can even redesign it
- the size of the pcb needs to remain the same or even if it needs to be changed there is no much space for this, just for your reference - the pcb is really small (like a coin)
- it might come to the case that the current firmware will not work good with your design so we might need you to make also new firmware while keeping all the functionality of the original device

What we need is a serious engineer with great experience and positive feedback
- you need to deliver 1 or 2 prototype pcbs that we will test and once we are satisfied with the result payment will be released; payment trough escrow service here on GAF

This project is very easy for an experienced electronic engineer and can be done very quickly.

For more specific questions please contact us trough PM.

Additional information submitted:

Some technical spec - current device uses C8051F321 mcu; The device must be extremely low power such that it can sleep, yet real time clock continues to operate.

All costs for testing components will be covered additionally, but components doesn't cost much at all, like ~$10 total for a single device.
