Description

Seeking design (new or existing) and possible manufacturer for a custom plastic USB device case, similar to a flash/thumb drive. Existing products that meet our requirements are preferred, but new designs will be considered. The case will have a USB type connector for use with a PC, two elastomeric pushbuttons, and a protection device for the connector. One or two small LEDs may optionally be included. Accommodation shall be provided for a replaceable lithium coin cell, either by removable cover or case disassembly by removing one or two small screws. The connector protection device shall be integral to the case such that it is not accidentally lost. Internal area shall provide provision for capturing a small electronics circuit board. Approximate internal dimensions (inches) are 0.625W"x1.75L"x.375H", but some flexibility will be allowed. Target price is less than $0.80(US) for small quantities with substantial discounts for large quantities.

The deliverables for this project are fully detailed 3D CAD files, functional prototype or existing product sample, cost and delivery estimates for various quantities of production. The attached images represent approximately the case configuration we seek.
