Description

Hello,

The circuit will operate using one primary switch and between one and four secondary switches. The circuit will be used within the confines of a motor vehicle, so power requirements should be kept within the limitations of a car battery.
The circuit is a security unit by nature. It will consist of

• Primary switch
• One to four secondary switches
• Power light
• Activation light
• Alarm light
• Transmitter
• Receiver

The circuit should perform as follows. When the unit is plugged in, a light will confirm power is on. When one or all of the four secondary switches are in their open position the unit is in standby mode “i.e.” when the main switch is closed or opened nothing happens. When one or all of the four secondary switches are closed and the main switch is opened an audible and visual alarm will sound and a signal will be transmitted to a pocket size receiver which will also emit an audible and visual alarm. The circuit should also have the following attributes, (1) When one or all of the four secondary switches are closed you will need to open and close the main switch within a given period of time or the unit will go into what I refer to as alarm mode, and emit an audible and visual alarm while transmitting a signal to a pocket size receiver which will also emit an audible and visual alarm. (2) When one or all of secondary switches are closed the unit will emit a light which I refer to as activation light.

The circuit and receiver should be design for the smallest housing possible. All lights, audible device, and jacks for the primary and secondary switches must be confined to within this housing. I will require a complete circuit diagram, and parts list.

My profession is mechanical engineering, so although I have some basic knowledge of electronics and circuit design, I’m sure I would turn what is probably a simple project for the right person, into a very long and tedious project for the wrong person (me).

Thank you, and look forward to hearing from you,
