Description

I am using a development board that has published schematics in PDF format. I would like to base a new design on this board but the manufacturer doesn't supply editable schematics. There is 1 large CPU and a few more chips and associated components, the job would be to import the schematic into Altium and specify package types so that some additional chips can be added by us and then a PCB routed. This isn't complex work, but it quite tedious as it is copying from the schematic into Altium. For someone that is good with Altium designer it should take a couple of hours.

The two schematics that relate to this project are http://www.olimex.com/dev/pdf/ARM/LPC/LPC-E2468-SCH-REV-A.pdf and http://www.necel.com/usb/en/download/USB114-BDSCH-ET0191A-03E.pdf

Ethernet & PHY don't need to be in place as well as PSU stage, also JTAG connector and expansion connector doesn't need to be included (but the 80 pin connector with GPIOs broken out would need to be inclueded).

Just copying the pdf to the schematic don't works:)! And if you wish to incorporate some other chips the work will be a bit more - it should be made a schematic, the send to you, agree... In one day for me is not possible. Some more things - there is nothing for the PCB size, nothing for the PCB layers, manufacturer requirements... Sorry, I don't know for what you can use this schematic except for the PCB, but this is my fault. And you probably know what is this library and how to add all these components if they don't exist... Do you know if they are in the Altium Library?
