Description

Design of PCI based 12 channels A/D converter.

- PCI + FPGA based
- Low cost PCI and FPGA.
- A/D based on ADS1282 from Texas Instruments is a must. (see technical description from their site).
- Excellent FPGA design.
- PCI based on Linux and Windows
- PCI Free Licence.

AT this stage of the design it is not required PCB design. FPGA design, and diagrams are required. Schematics and description of the modules are required. Low-cost is very important.

I represent MAPYN, an Engineering Design house that concentrates on Embedded Hardware and Software Product Development. We are a strong team with excellent educational qualification and experience from reputed Universities and companies in USA, India and Japan. We have a strong team (10 full time engineers and growing) that can be used by a product company like yourself to augment resources/sub-contract projects or a combinations of the two. We have a decent lab faciluty and in house expertise in Board Based Development (Eagle & Orcad), Analog Simulations (Spice), Microprocessor Based Systems (8 Bit - Microchip, Atmel / 16 bit - Microchip, Atmel, Infineon / 32 bit - NXP ARM), RTOS and non-RTOS based systems. Please visit www.mapyn.com and the Portfolio section will give an idea of the kind of projects we have worked on. We can work on this project for you by creating a Board that samples the data at 12ksps and then transfers the data to the USB port. We suggest using a small FPGA that samples the ADC data continuously and updates a buffer continuously. A USB microcontroller can read that data from the FPGA and send it to the PC. We shall deliver the following in this cost: Schematic PCB Layout Board Population and Board Bring Up VHDL Code Firmware for microcontroller (C / Assembly as required for timing sensitive part) PC Software in VC++ that shows the acquired raw data. Completion time: 30 working days Raw material (Components and Fabrication cost of PCBs is not included in this and we shall bill you directly for that as required) Please let me know your views on the bid and if you send me your contact information I shall be happy to talk to you personally Thanks and Regards Ajay

We have just completed a such type of project and we made the PCI cards which are running now and the data is being sampled at 200Mhz we also lay out the board manually. the snaps of the cards can be seen in my profile on ORKUT http://www.orkut.com/Album.aspx?uid=16007468900006549649&aid=1 You can also contact us for the board layouts. Thanks and regards.
