Hi, I am English born and educated, a fully trained and qualified secretary with 30 years experience within the Legal Profession, Local Government, HM Prison Service and Social Services before freelancing three years ago. I have excellent feedback and return clients on this and other sites. During my work history I have transcribed correspondence, legal documents, witness statements, reports, financial records, agendas, presentations, prisoner reports, minutes, insurance claim interviews etc. Since freelancing there has been a lot of interview transcription work for students at PhD level and similar, television and radio interviews and shows, seminars, focus groups, webinars, teleseminars, author dictation etc. I have worked with different accents including South African, American both north and south, Australian, a lot of European, UK, Irish, Scottish and Icelandic. I have professional transcription equipment, ADSL Broadband and use Office 2007. I am at GMT but would be happy to keep you posted with progress reports at the end of my day or whenever would suit you. I am a fast, accurate typist with an eye for detail as well as deadlines. All of my work is proofread and my rate is $1 per audio minute including proofreading. I have a lot of experience as well as satisfied clients and would love the opportunity to add you to that list. I aim to complete between one and two hours of audio per day but that is very much dependent on the quality of the audio. Inaudibles are put in brackets with a time stamp for ease of checking but if you require a different format I will be happy to accommodate.
