Description:	We need a Expert in Virtuemart to upload stock to our shop via Bulk csv upload or through PHPMyAdmin. Only those that have done this before need apply. We have around 8000 products that need uploading, We have a CSV file with close to 32,000 records, the reason for this is for every 4 lines of records, 3 are duplicates. So you will need to remove all duplicates from the CSV file. Most likely you can do this in bulk. Also in the CSV file, the Categories are actually Sub-categories. We will give you a text file list of the Main Level categories in which these Sub-Categories in the CSv file must go under before you upload. You do not have to upload any images. We will do that. You only have to prepare the CSV file correctly and upload the products to our store. You must also edit the main/sub category to match the store category structure before entering it into the csv file otherwise duplicate categories will be generated. Correct: category_path Automotive/Airplanes Automotive/All Cars Not category_path: AUTOMOTIVE/Airplanes Automotive/ALL CARS Also note the image file name is the actual SKU product code. eg: Image file name: A8178B-md.jpg SKU: A8178B-md product_full_image: A8178B-md product_thumb_image: A8178B-md The excel file we will send you will contain the image file names like this per product: A8178B-lg.jpg Its your job to remove the ( .jpg ) part and ad the balance ( A8178B-lg )as the SKU code for the product. Image with a A8178B-lg-b ( b Extension ) are for black t-shirts, the b must not be removed. We are stocking t-shirt into our store so have to be very careful in the image filenames. eg: White t-shirts files are like these below: A1855A-md_2.jpg A2582B-md_2.jpg A2710B-md_2.jpg A3265F-md_2.jpg eg: Black t-shirts files are like these below: A11810D-md-b_2.jpg A12890D-md-b_2.jpg A13816D-md-b_2.jpg A11811D-md-b_2.jpg see the difference ( black has a b_ before 2.jpg ) Total csv fields product_name category_path product_full_image product_thumb_image product_price product_s_desc product_desc attribute --------------------------- The following dont require work, just same entry in all fields so copy and paste in bulk: product_price (Entry 14.50 ) product_s_desc (Entry Small ) product_desc ( Entry main ) attribute ( Entry Attri ) ------------------------------ The following will require you to work on accurately. product_sku product_name category_path product_full_image product_thumb_image After you finish the Upload, we will run a script and insert the Additional Images, product prices, Small and Main Description and product Attributes in bulk. All the information will be contained within 1 Excel file, you have to go through it and make the csvs correctly for uploading.
