Description

This is a simple copy and paste operation performed once a week for an initial 5 weeks period. No software development required.

Contact will be extended for another 5 week period if performance is satisfactory.

Task is to produce a weekly Excel spreadsheet of foreclosure data retrieved from newspaper advertisements and from the RealtyTrac website (public account).

Ability to read and understand English is mandatory.

Task requires websearch, reading and selecting advertisements, copying and pasting text into an Excel or google docs spreadsheet and sent to my email address.

There will be approximately 200 ads to screen of which about 10 to 50 will meet the criteria.

Bid amount should be for the entire 5 week period. Bid range of thirty dollars US to fifty dollars US.

Performance on the contract requires the following steps:

Part I - Newspaper Listing, the Washington Times legal notices

1) Log on to WWW.WashingtonTimes.com

2) Start in the upper right hand corner and follow the path 'Marketplace > Classifieds'.

3) In the search box do:
Select a Category : Legal Notices
Date Range : Last Seven Days
Search : trustee Virginia
Search Classifieds: ON
Advanced Search : All Words

4) SEARCH. Results is a list of the ads for the past 7 days. Notice should be in the form: 1. 03/30/2009 TRUSTEE'S SALE

5) Record every advertisement matching the criteria:

5.1 Address of property limited to the following cities (VA is the state abbreviation of Virginia):

Annandale, Virginia
Arlington, Virginia
Burke, Virginia
Fairfax, Virginia
Falls Church, Virginia
McLean, Virginia
Springfield, Virginia
Vienna, Virginia

5.2 Cost or sum of no more than $250,000.00. May be listed in the advertisement as:

6) For every notice of a foreclosure match the above criteria, please record the follow in separate columns in an Excel spreadsheet

If the Substitute Trustee is unable to convey good and marketable title, the purchaser's sole remedy in law or equity shall be limited to the refund of the deposit to the purchaser.
