Description:	I need someone to copy data from online restaurant websites for me. I will provide you the website link and excel template and you need to fill in the fields. It’s a long term project (I am targeting 500 websites per month to start with) - so bid only if you can take this up on a long term basis. Although it’s simple copy and paste but I want you to think what you are copying and not make blind entries. I will terminate the project on a week’s notice if quality standards are not met. Each and every entry will be cross-checked to maintain completeness and correctness of the data copied. New providers are also welcome but I would have to run a pilot project with you in order to weigh your capabilities. Bid on the basis of per website. Message me if you have any questions. Select LA as the city. 3. Browse through the restaurants one by one. Only consider those restaurants with websites. 4. Go to that restaurant website and browse through its menu page. 5. I will provide you a template and you will need to copy menu information into that excel file (fields being dish name/description and rate). I expect you to understand how to browse through menus and different cuisines and how to interpret them. Here is an example of restaurant menu from yelp - http://www.tacosbaja.com/menu/menu.html There are 4174 restaurants on yelp for LA and we will move to SFO/Bay Area after LA. I am targeting all major cities in California and yelp is just the first directory. If my plans work out, I will start with other states in the US (so this can be a BIG project if I and you click together). I am willing to pay between $0.50 - $1.00 per restaurant menu but I CAN NOT compromise on quality. Please send me a private message if you are still interested after hearing the specifics. 07/12/2007 at 3:18 EDT: One more clarification - different restaurants have different menu length (some maybe just 1 screen long while some may extend to 20 pdf pages) but I will pay flat rate per menu irrespective of the menu size. Also some menus can be copy pasted while others need to be typed - again, I will pay flat rate. So keep this in mind while determining your bid price.
