We are a small business based in NY looking for an individual that can manage our Quickbooks file. We will scan and email bank statements, deposits, canceled checks, etc. and the individual will be needed to correctly record the transactions in the file.

We also receipt payments that are accompanied by multi-page statements that need to be data entried in a certain manner to process royalty payments to third parties.

I am a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor, a former CFO, and an MBA. I am experienced working remotely with clients posting to and maintaining their Quickbooks company file. Since your job posting does not indicate a time period, my quote is a weekly rate that includes 3 hours of my time. Experience tells me that maintaining the books for a small company using QuickBooks with the transactions you describe takes about 15 to 25 hours per month - more or less depending on the number and complexity of the transactions. I usually work by the hour, but if you need a flat rate, I'll need to see representative samples of your "receipt payments" transactions so as to judge their complexity. References available.

Hi there - if you read my profile you will see that I am more than able to help in this regard. Your choice will be tough in choosing from the many bookkeepers/accountants that have bid. But I am reliable, intelligent, a problem solver and a self motivator. With the limited info that you have supplied, I would guess that it would take one day to update your books monthly....but I am guessing it would be more convenient for you to have your finacial information weekly. My charge would still be a monthly fee.
