Description
I have a personal website listing a personal manga collection (mine). I am disabled and find copying and pasting between windows a real chore. But I'd like to get this database up to date once and for all. Pardon its current state of "not looking very nice" -- it will be revamped into a new website in the winter. My main concern right now is just the database entry and editing. You will be copying and pasting mostly Japanese characters but an understanding of Japanese is not required.WARNING: The manga listed is primarily yaoi. Yaoi is manga featuring two males in a romantic relationship. You will encounter images of an adult nature. If this disturbs you, please don't bid on this project. Tolerance is important. Thank you.
TERMINOLOGY: Mangaka is the artist or author. ISBN is an Internationally recognized book number. Romanji is a Japanese writing system in which words are written using the Roman alphabet. It can be used to write Japanese for foreigners and/or to write directly foreign words in a Japanese text.
DETAILS: There are 380 records in the entire database ("want" and "have").
Each entry record looks as yaoidb2.gif
Copy and paste the JPQueen URL into another browser window as yaoidb.gif
Copy and paste data from the JPQueen entry into entry record for the following fields: Title-Japanese, Mangaka-Japanese, ISBN (the number only, not the word "ISBN"), Publisher, Publisher (Japanese).
Click Done.
Repeat X 379.
NOTES: Sometimes JPQueen seems to list two rows of publishers -- it's really the first row (not the second or bottom).
ADDITIONAL NEEDS:
1. Change all Mangaka reading "Higuri You" to "Higuri Yuu" (33 records -- edit at same time add other data).
2. Add the following to the "want list":
