If you would like to use the camera as a snap-shot camera it works well, but there are many other cameras on the market with a much lower price tag. The image quality is not good enough to really capture the full capacity of the 10.1 megapixels. On the other hand, Imaging Resource consider the camera to be a good pick as the camera performed well in the most important tests and when it performed poor, it could normally be compensated if you fine-tuned the camera. However some noise could be found on the test images. The optical zoom was a disappointment but the digital zoom compensated.
