What a great opportunit to do something I love. There are so many plot twists and potential characters there. Maybe an angry old relative of the family who never wanted the original mansion replaced and continues to haunt the castle, maybe the new castle was built on the site where an angry witch was burned alive and she haunts the castle. Maybe a local curse of werewolves or vampires consumes those who venture inside.
I could go on for hours. Anyway, I hope you accept my bid and we can talk more about this project, I really love the romance of celtic horror stories.

| Greetings! Since the scope of the work you desire is not exactly clear, the dollars and days are certainly open for negotiation. That said, I am definitely the man for this particular job. You see, besides having a gift for clever, comical and elegant invention, I have rare and special experience with haunted houses. My house was/is utterly haunted by a legion of spirits, creatures, ghouls, lost and condemned souls and demons...complete with a witch and a vampire. I myself was completely and fully oppressed by demonic and unholy spriits. It took the intervention of an exorcist from the Catholic Church to pull me free from the spiritual strongholds of the demonic.
I have blessed with beautiful supernatural, spiritual consolations and gifts and cursed with bizarre and terrifying preternatural apparitions and visions. The veil to the world of things “unseen” is, at times, very thin for me. It is easy to dismiss me as psychotic, which in some cases may be true, but it is simply a matter of fact that I have been, and still am, accosted by evil spiritual forces.
It does not matter what you or I think, feel or believe, the spiritual realm is totally enmeshed within the material world that we perceive and experience...that is bedrock reality. There are certain things that are specific to the things of the spirit. Some of the great mystical Doctors of the Church reveal the true nature of our relationship with the spirit. San Juan de la Cruz gives the most definitive and lucid counsel regarding the supernatural. There is a real line that cuts through creation and separates the living from the dead.
If you want an informed, authentic accurate depiction of preternatural and demonic manifestations, and not just some bozo, contrived hogwash, then I am definitely the man for the job.
After a brief perusal of the castle’s history and the usual expected intrigue of lust, greed and envy wherever fortune and power are present (i.e., the hunting accident that took care of poor lil’ Theodore) I believe the many tids and bits of history provide fertile soil to till and provide a nice bloated corpus of ideas to flesh out into a grisly fantasy of phantasms feasting upon the corrupt fruits of human sin and vice, while at the same time preserving the Talbot’s honor and avoiding the mortal sin of detraction. Whoever you choose to be your writer, you’d better be damn sure that they don’t wrongly malign the good name of someone whose passed one…for it will be you who will stand accountable to the forces that Be!
