Hi, I am a native english speaker and I have experience with this type of article. I'm sending a sample and I'll charge you $3 an article. Screen Resolution in Your Web Site Design One of the hardest questions and one of the most frequently asked is "What screen resolution should I use in my designs?" This is a difficult question because it really depends on what the web design in. But the basics are the following: You should try to use 1024x768 which is generally the screen resolution that is used the most. Obviously as screen resolutions change so should your website designs. Your screen resolution will be different if say you are designing an intranet site where all the users have large screens, but in most cases use 1024x768. Don't design for just one specific monitor size because screen sizes will vary. Today about 60% of computer users have their monitors set at 1024x768 pixels, and only 17% use 800x600, so it is not as important to direct your website towards this small number of users. But you also cant completely ignore 17% of your viewers, so the best answer here is not to use a frozen layout that will require more space than what these users have. The best thing you can do is to optimize for 1024x768. By optimize we are referring to making your page look best at this common size, but it should still work and look good in other sizes. That’s why you should use a liquid layout. • Make sure you have all the key information visible in all screen resolutions. That means have your key information above the fold so viewers can see it before having to scroll down. • Make sure your site is easy to read no matter what the resolution • The Aesthetics of your site: In other words how well is your sie designed and how does it look. Does everything look like it is in the proper place. You can check all of these elements by resizing your browser window from 800x600 to 1280x1240. Your site should look good in both resolutions.
