Bid On This Project

Description

Medical writers:

My website is in need of medical news content.

Take a look at it. It's at www.interactmd.com. Go ahead, look at it now. I'll wait.

Ok, do you understand the content there? We offer coverage of clinical medical news, in real-time. If it's relevant to patient care, it's on our site.

What we do is check RSS feeds of medical news daily, pick the interesting links, and write stories about them.

Can you do that? I don't want your articles about herbal medicine, supplements, ayurvedic, or other secondary topics. I don't want something you wrote last year about diabetes. I want 500 word summaries of current news events in medicine.

I can give you the ideas for stories, or you can provide them yourself.

It would help if you were a doctor, nurse, or other health professional, but it's not mandatory.

If you would like a response, please show me you understand what I am looking for by posting a sample news item in the PM section.

I will pay you $10 for the first new article you write after we make our agreement, and $10 for the sample article if I really like it.

Good luck!

Philip here from Ireland. I am a masters student with excellent writing, and analytical skills. I was an A student at undergraduate level, being particularly adept at research, and composition. I have a meticulous attitude to language. Solecism, syntax, and style are subjects which excite my literary instincts. You may be reticent to choose me given that I have no feedback, however the magnitude of my talents render such concerns moot. I can deliver the articles you need for $9 dollars each, and am available long term.

Bid is submitted at 5 summaries per day, $10 per summary as stated. The number of total submissions per day/pay per summary can be negotiated to your needs. While I do not have formal medical training, you will find I have quite a broad range of knowledge of medical topics stemming from years of independent study, as well the intellectual capacity to understand and comprehend complex medical issues. Nine years of experience in a psychology practice have also given me a great understanding of the mental and behavioral health field. You will find my sample summary in your PM. The following is an example of a rewrite of an article I found: ----------------------------------------------- Are You a Senior who has Changed Sleep Patterns? You need to bring that to the attention of your Doctor according to expert. Dr. Charles Cefalu, Chief of the Section of Geriatric Medicine for the Medical Center of Louisiana and Clinical Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, says “While it's normal for older people to have occasional sleep problems, seniors who experience sleep pattern changes that last for longer than two weeks should see a doctor.” "Generally, for optimal function, the body and mind need about eight hours of sleep each night," Cefalu said in a society news release. "However, a recent study suggests that some seniors may need less sleep. Because sleep affects everyone differently, people shouldn't count the hours of sleep they get to determine if it's right for them, they should take note of how they feel the next day." Other signs of a sleep disorder include excessive snoring; frequent waking through the night; morning headaches; being tired but having trouble falling asleep; loss of appetite; and not feeling rested in the morning was also mentioned by Cefalu. "While it might be normal to wake up tired, or have a bad night's sleep on occasion, if the symptoms last for more than two weeks, seniors should see their geriatrician to determine if there is a problem and learn about treatment options," Cefalu said.
