I'm R.C. Brown, owner of Poor Richard's Writing Services and a Gold Member of GAF. I've been involved in writing all my adult life--as a reporter / assistant editor for a monthly religious news magazine for 7 years, and a reporter / editor for a weekly newspaper for 3 years. I also taught college journalism and supervised production of the college yearbook at Indiana Bible College for 4 years. Here's the best part: Even though I'm a professional American writer, my rates are competitive with those from other countries, who don't do so well with the English language. I've written sales letters for more. I think $75 is a fair price for a well written sales letter. I notice some people will charge just $5-$7 per hour, I think that reflects the quality of work as well, which is generally not very good. I think I have a feel for what's needed. I live right next door to Pebble Beach, as well.
