My writing is usually targeted towards a corporate audience that hopes to use my writing as leverage for a more profitable business. I generally charge $25 an hour for straight forward writing/research (articles) and $75 an hour to create marketing strategies, ad copy, corporate templates, or anything else dealing with corporate advancement.
