Description

Task:

A. Write an essay (suggested length of 2–3 pages) in which you demonstrate the use of measurement through the use of tools and application of formulas to determine the different attributes of a bucket—including weight, volume/capacity, length, and area.

1. Describe the units of measure used to collect the measurement data.

2. Describe the measurement instruments used.

3. Identify relationships between the attributes being measured and the unit of measure used.

4. Develop generalizations including formulas that can be used for determining measurements.

5. Justify the role of estimation and approximation in learning measurement.



B. If you chose to use outside sources, include all in-text citations and references in APA format.
