I am Famela P. Midoro, licensed veterinarian and I worked as a medical transcriptionist for two years, doing transcription, editing, and proofreading of medical documents. I currently teach about MT English in a medical transcription school. This is about the rules that govern medical transcription. This subject area also deals with English proficiency issues since the students have to demonstrate good grammar when doing medical documents (which are basically 90% English and only 10% medical). I also impart to students editing and proofreading skills and this is where they have to learn to spot for grammatical, typographical, spelling and punctuation errors, and other inconsistencies that may affect the integrity of the documents they produce. I acquired my editing and proofreading skills back in the medical transcription company I used to work with. We were trained to produce documents with 98% to 100% accuracy and to deliver the project in the required time frame to satisfy our client needs.
I believe I can efficiently provide the excellent service you are requiring from the transcriptionists for your projects. Should you wish to assess my abilities in this craft, you may send me test files.
My rate is $30 per audio hour(or a total of $180 for 6-hour recording)
