Speech Transcription Project
To complete this project, you will need:
1) to understand American English with accents,
2) equipment capable of slowing .mp3 audio files,
3) to provide the completed transcripts with time stamps every minute in an MS WORD document file,
4) to submit a sample transcript of the short audio clip provided here,
5) to meet the project deadline (Wednesday, April 2, 2008).
This project includes a total of 74 audio minutes (two files of 36 and 38 audio minutes) of a bible class (including one teacher and three to four students). The audio quality is good with some speech overlap and minor background noise. All audio is in American English. I am providing a short audio clip here, which I request be transcribed and delivered within 1 day in order to consider your bid. Accuracy does not have to be 100% (word-for-word) but at least 80% is expected. Minor spelling/grammar mistakes are acceptable.
Once transcription is completed and sent to me, I will review it for accuracy. If necessary, I will ask you to make revisions. I will pay within 5 days of project completion. Please bid only if you can start immediately upon winning this project.
*An excellent sample transcript and low bid will get preference over others. Thank you.
