From these indicators the analyst determines whether the asset is tending in the direction of the price. Even the relationships between the volume and price can be determined by technical analysts. Technical analysis can also be used in the study of correlations between the changes in pull/call ratios and other sentiment indicators. Technical try to forecast the gains by forecasting the price movements based on previous data based in successful trades. These trades had produced good returns in the long run. There are in fact several approaches or schools in regards to technical analysis. Some of these thoughts include Dow theory, candlestick charting and Elliott wave theory. Some traders may ignore one of the approaches while some others may take the viewpoint of all the approaches. They may even combine two approaches and calculate the results.
