Bid On This Project

Description

Hello! Thank you in advance for considering my project. =)

I have many sites that need some content and I don't have the time to write it all myself so I'm going to take a few of them and do an experiment to see how this outsourcing of content goes.

The first site for which I am requesting content is a brand-new one that sends readers to eBay to buy telescope- and astronomy-related items. The site is supposed to be of interest to children who would like to buy a telescope or related equipment as well as parents who would like to bring their family closer together using astronomy or need a gift for a child or beginner to astronomy.

I have about 15 pages that need content for the site at the moment. 300 words to open the page and 200 to close it.

I've already done a lot of research for the keywords for each page and have it all laid out in a 40-page document. These keywords are structured in three categories:

1. Primary Keyword Phrases - these are the phrases that should be worked into the first couple of sentences as well as the last couple of sentences for the article (as close to the beginning and end of the page as possible)

2. Content Keywords - a large list of keywords and keyword phrases, from which ideas and words can be chosen to fill the article.

3. LSI Ontological Keywords - another large list of words that should be 'peppered in' the article where appropriate to increase the overall relative weight of the article regarding the keywords in #1 and #2.

The document is a reference document and should be used as a guide and not law; there are way more keywords than can possibly be used for this stage of the site's development. The content should speak for itself and be useful to the site's readers. A good copywriter will be able to work these keywords into the article and make it flow well.

I will send the document to anyone considering the job who requests it and obviously the person who wins the bid. It contains some links to other sites for content ideas and examples.

The pages for the site will be mainly for the categories of telescopes for sale (general telescopes, refractor telescopes, reflector telescopes, astronaut autographs, outer-space themed bedding etc) so finding information on the internet for content will be very easy.

I need a writer who writes English very well (I used to re-write website content for international customers so my standards are pretty high for correct grammar etc). The main customer base is in the US so I need someone who is either a native English speaker or EXTREMELY good at English grammar if otherwise. The whole point of this exercise is to save me from having to write so I am trying to avoid having to correct improper colloquialism usage. It is a family- and child-related site so it must be written professionally and in a friendly manner.

I also need someone who understands SEO and LSI and knows how to work keywords into articles appropriately without keyword-stuffing.

Using information from other sites to base your article is to be expected; most of you won't be telescope or astronomy experts. The content must be unique and pass whatever tests of uniqueness may potentially ding my SERPs or copyrighting law.

If you have specific questions, please post them below so everyone else can see the answers.

If you would like to be considered, please make sure I can see examples of your personal writing or I won't be able to consider you. You can PM that information to me if you wish.

The bidding is set to expire in 3 days. I would like to have the articles written by the 15th of November.

I look forward to working with you,

Scott

*Update* Please take care with the examples that you are sending as well as the content in your PMs. I am assuming that what you are showing me is your best work.

So far only two of you (at the time of this edit) has submitted information to me that has been both professional and grammatically-correct. I understand that not everyone is going to have perfect grammar - I certainly don't. I do expect that what is submitted will be at least at the high school level. If your writing skills are not at that level, please hold off from posting your bids.

I am taking price into consideration, balanced by the SEO and writing ability of the author but I can't afford to spend the time rewriting the articles or I would just write them myself. I would rather spend more money and get something that will be presentable but I don't need the articles to be at the corporate level.

Thank you.
