Don. Did I just pass a test? I'm not quite sure. If the "Don" thing is a test, you should put it somewhere in the middle of the text, so that people skipping to the bottom can't see it so well. Just a thought. My name is Geoff. I have no professional writing experience. I have however, rewritten several things (usually for friends), and have always been the "go-to" guy for such work. I enjoy writing, and so far have only done these things for fun. This is my first attempt to reach out to someone here in this funny little virtual world, so in a way, this is a test. To be frank, I don't really know if I could complete your work in three days, but I felt compelled to fill the required paremeters lest I be ingored. I don't mean to say that I wish to waste your time; I have great confidence in my skill with the written word, although it would be nice to have a better sense of what I might be asked to write about before feeling too frisky. I can easily write 9000 words in three days, but if, for instance, you ask me to write an article about how to milk a horse, I might need to do some research. (Surprisingly enough, that's not actually true. You should google the topic sometime. It's really quite an interesting procedure.) That being said, I would like to try and see how quickly a capable writer can generate income with these types of projects. Is there a sample article you can provide, or something of that sort? You mentioned future projects. If you are sketchy about letting a "newbie" have a crack at something with a three-day deadline, is there something ahead I could try my hand at? I'm afraid I don't know how this usually works. Anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as well as any potential projects, of course. Thank you for your time and consideration. (Since writers everywhere can see this, I would just like to state for the record that I tried to break this into appropriate paragraphs. It didn't take. How embarassing.)
