Print vs. Web Journalism
by: Hilary Romig
Observing both versions of the Boston Globe, one can see that both editions hold appealing
qualities about them. The web version is ideal for someone in a rush. The entire newspaper is listed by section in a table of contents format. The reader can simply scan over the newspapers’ content and click on exactly what they want to read. The physical newspapers’ appearance is sophisticated , where the web version is not. That is a big advantage of the print version.
As far as competition, the Boston Globe is such an established and big name newspaper, its’ print
version will never be extinguished. People often want to hold a physical newspaper as well. It creates a feeling of reality for them to hold the paper in their hands. The web edition is a great way to promote younger generations to read the print version. Young people are known to be “on” to the
newest and latest technology. They are also prone to use that technology more than other consumers.
The biggest advantage of the web version is that it is so accessible. Anyone who has the internet can read it. In today’s world, people are so busy that the internet is a major source of communication. Whether it be news, local or not, or even speaking to family and friends, the internet plays a key role in that. Also, this allows people from around the world the ability to read it.
The print version has the advantage of being easy to operate. One can simply open it and turn to any
page they desire. Website as well as computers often have hangups, where the print edition is always reliable. The print version is also available sooner in the day than the web version. Often the
web edition is being fixed or is not as easily accessed.
Both the web and the print version of the Boston Globe are successful because everyone has different preferences. Some consumers prefer the internet, others do not. The web has a wide range of consumers from young to old. However, the younger consumers are more apt to read the web version. Print newspapers are often associated with older generations, but really print newspapers
accommodate a variety of ages.
Another advantage of the web edition is the fact that it is free. That word creates an alert in many people, they will take anything that is free. Although this is a good tactic, many print papers offer more in their physical editions than what is on their website version as a major difference between the two types. This provokes the online readers to subscribe to the print version. Most people do not
want to miss out on anything; they want to be caught up and “in-the-know”.
Newspapers can double their popularity by offering both kinds. This way, it attracts a wider audience; it could even make advancement in business. For instance, someone who reads it on the
computer may like it enough to subscribe to the print version. Branching out in that sense is perfect for grabbing more and new audiences. In a way, both types can aid each other. The web version may
stimulate more print subscribers as well as promote the younger generations’ interest. The internet has become more and more popular since its’ debut. The print version holds a sense of establishment and may hold more articles and information than the web version.
For the future of Journalism both types of newspaper will be successful because not every consumer is alike. For some the web is the only way they can get news. Others would rather hold an actual paper. It depends on the consumer and what they desire most. Journalists are going to have more and more opportunities in the future. Already there are the print newspapers’ reporters, photographers, editors, etc. The web edition allows for even more positions; it calls for the designers, the coordinators, all of that and more. Neither version is going to cut back on positions, if anything they will increase as business booms. Journalists have a lot of options as well. They can write in the traditional format for a paper; they can also write from anywhere in the world.
The world of newspapers and Journalists will never be diminished. People have always and will always want to know the scoop. All forms of news attract readers, entertainment, local, world, religious, food, all of these. The demand for writers and photographers will increase rapidly.
A large part of that comes from the fact that as more and more newspapers branch out into the web, they are going to attract a larger audience. For years to come, print newspapers with web links and editions will become more and more usual.

| Hi,

| I am an experienced and professional creative writer i write weekly for a daily newspaper and i also write academic research articles for a website. I have a good experience of writing web articles and because of my creative ability im quite sensitively conscious about the plagiarism aspect thus i can assure the quality and originality of expression and style in my work.
my sample work from one of the student loan project i have done.
How do I defer prior student loans?
The borrower has to experience multiple types of economic phases throughout the time span of his/her loan repayment. One of these phases is quite crucial when the borrower is unable to pay the scheduled payments or fulfill certain requirements of the loan contract and such phases particularly occur when either the borrower is unemployed or is still a student. In this case deferment and forbearance of loan are essential rights of the borrower, provided under specific conditions.
In deferment the borrower is allowed to hold back the payments for a certain period of time. During deferment the borrower will also be exempted from interest if he/she had been indebted with federally subsidized loans such Stafford Loan. Thus if the borrower consolidates with a Stafford Loan so the Government shall pay all the interest that accrues during that specific fraction of consolidation. But on the other hand the Government shall not pay any accrued interest if the borrower consolidates with unsubsidized prior loans or with a lost subsidy with effect of consolidation. It is however important for the borrower to have in his knowledge that loans disbursed after July 1 1993 provide the borrower with all the five deferment options (as listed below). But loans taken before this date may not provide the borrower with any of these deferment options.
The five deferment options are:
Enrollment Deferment – This type of deferment provides the borrower with a time of deferring his/her payments till the time he/she is in school or has completed almost half time period of an eligible education program.
Graduate Deferment –if the borrower is a student of a graduate program then he may avail the offer of a fulltime deferment from the loan.
Rehabilitation Deferment – if the borrower is engaged in a rehabilitation or training program then he/she may avail deferment from the loan and prevent from a full-time employment.
Unemployment Deferment – if the borrower is unemployed and is in search of a job in this case he/she can defer from loans for up to 3 years under this option provided.
Financial Hardship Deferment – this option provides the borrowers with low income to defer loans for maximum 3 years.
The consolidation of loans can be applied by the borrowers even if their current loans are in deferment. The borrower can reapply for deferment immediately after attaining consolidation of loans and as long as they are eligible according to the deferment requirement they may sustain their consolidation with a deferment status.
Deferments can be attained by applying for them in writing, by providing essential documentation and above all the borrower must have a loan type such as Subsidized and/or Unsubsidized Stafford, SLS, PLUS or Consolidation loan, which are eligible for deferment. And also the borrower should be delinquent for less than 270 days.
But if in case any borrower does not qualify for deferment he/she must seek the help of their servicer to apply for forbearance, which either provides the borrower with a suspension or decrease in payments. The government however does not pay the accrued interest in forbearance.

| I am a creative writer. I am not really sure how this freelance thing works, but I would like to give it a shot. Am enclosing my acknowledgement from my Masters' thesis to give you an idea how I write:
ACKNOWLEDGMENT
In the many instances when life takes over the will
and in the many times when rising is more agonizing than the fall
I cannot help but be grateful for the gifts that I had been given
time and again I have been humbled by the Greater Power that takes over
so that I always know that I never was, and shall never be alone
What I was
what I am
what I will be
I will always owe
to Him who made me whole and my life complete
I have never been so humbled as I am now
to have been able to finish this book from scratch in barely three months
as I know I could never have done it without help
to you, I offer these missives of gratitude
To my Graduate School Family
Dean Pete, Sir Alvin, my professors, Janet, the GS Office angels, and my classmates
I salute you for almost driving me to my wits’ end, making me race against time
I am convinced that you have more belief in me than I do in myself
To my distinguished Panel
for your generosity in lending your expertise and time
for your patience in poring over the exhaustive material
I shall ever be so grateful
To my adviser, Madam Fay
for your unselfish and obdurate devotion to excellence
so that no matter how many times I have had to retrace the path to your door
I knew it was well worth it
if only for the honor to simply say that I was once in your erudite company
To my Division Chief, Dr. Robert Reyes
for your support and patience in helping to see me through this almost insurmountable feat
To my dearest of friends
Mitch, Pilot, Mommy Sabater, Ellen, Chris, Mabs, Malou, June, Da, San, Peach, Anne, Bob, Boyet
you were at my beck and call just to provide me with what I needed when I needed them
you patiently and incessantly egged me on
even at the time when I almost gave it up
To my benefactor, Rev.Fr. Arsenio Jesena, SJ
my teacher, my spiritual guide, my friend
for because of you, and for you,
and because of a curious twist of circumstances
I was able to walk the more difficult road, albeit, at a painstakingly slow pace
somehow, things have become possible just because you walked, and still walk beside me
To Miko’s family
for having welcomed me in your warm and loving embrace
and taking me as one of your own
this is as much your achievement as it is mine
To my siblings, Yayet, Pom, Ila and Toton and my Auntie Dang
for bridging distances without words and for loving without conditions
and for having given me the privilege of happy yesterdays
so that I am able to courageously face the challenges of today
To Mommy
the woman unfazed by life’s bitter lemons
for with your unyielding strength, and unfathomable love
I had learned to stand up, be heard, and make my mark
I shall always be grateful for the simple pleasure of being
for the loving family I am able to call my own
and for the simple privilege of being able to call an indubitable person like you “Mommy”
the stubborn determination and perseverance behind this thesis against all the odds
is a mute tribute to the values you have instilled in me from the day I was born
To Daddy
wherever you are
be still in your slumber
knowing that your memory shall always be my beacon
especially in the dark moments of my life
To the little angels life has given me
Micaiah, Miel, JC, Chloe, Angelo, Gillian, Liam, Tata, Enen, MJ, and Jarrell
for having gifted me with overflowing love and uncomplicated inspiration
for giving me reasons to forge on and for the delight in calling you my own
To Miko
I am thankful to have chosen to hold your hand
all the days of my life
for it is with your abysmal love and quiet strength that I am able to see
how much farther I can go
I am so indebted to the Divine
to have caused our errant paths to entwine
I rest at night sated with the knowledge that all my tomorrows
are going to be spent by loving and being loved by you
The passion for life
the will to do
the unrelenting fortitude to forge on
the strength to rise after a fall
and the courage to love
I owe to Him whose hands fashioned the humble beginnings of my life
Desirée
