I have 20 articles that need rewriting. There is going to be about 20-30 articles per month come February 2007. The articles are about 600 words each. There is no need to write the articles from scratch, the articles are already written, I need you to change them.

Here is the task to perform in each article

1.Change the title
2.Change the flow and add/delete some content at will
3.Make a new article saying the same thing with new words/new sentences

Please tell me how much you will charge for doing 20 articles and how long you will take?

Attached please find an original article similar to the one I want changed. The attached is an original one. You can work on this article if you like and attach your version of it so I can have an idea of how you work.

My rewrite of the sample article: There goes another myth Everybody in the business knows that the "first known hedge fund was started in 1949 by Alfred Winslow Jones." Everybody but Warren Buffett, that is. The story is that Jones, while writing an article on market forecasting for Fortune in 1948, was struck by the idea that while you can’t forecast the market, you can manage assets to take advantage of investor ignorance by taking a mixture of long and short positions and adjusting them according to actual market behavior. Jones published first, so he became the acknowledged guru. But Buffett points our that Ben Graham managed what was effectively a hedge fund in the 1920s, because it dealt in both long and short positions and had other characteristics of the modern hedge fund, such as “"partnership structure, a percentage-of-profits-compensation arrangement for Ben as general partner, [and] a number of limited partners”. Buffett does not claim to be an historian – there may have been other, even earlier funds based on similar ideas – he just claims that Graham’s is the first fund of its kind that he knows about. In fact, the idea of borrowing an expensive asset in order to sell it and buy it back cheaper later on – the principle of short selling - is probably as old as investment itself; the idea of making money by taking both sides of a bet is common to bankers, insurers and bookies; and investment syndicates go back to the mercantilist era, if not the medieval Lombard banks. Surely, given the ceaselessly fertile nature of the investor’s brain, the idea of marrying the three concepts was thought of and practiced long before it was formally recorded or had a name. We tend to want history to be dramatic. The Titanic, for example, was neither the first or the worst shipwreck in history, but it makes a great story, with all the elements of a Greek tragedy, so it stands for all the others. One of those dramatic elements, by the way, is hubris: the unsinkable ship sinks, human arrogance is mocked by the gods. And that happens to be just as much a myth as the hedge-fund story: the White Star line never claimed that the ship was unsinkable. That notion seems to have sprung from an interview with the ship’s architect, who said that “ships today are so large that they are practically unsinkable”. He seems to have had in mind storms and waves, not being raked from stem to stern by an iceberg. Which shows how the story that is tidy but wrong tends to displace the boring and messy truth. But then again, it also shows that sooner or later, the truth will out. That’s why we have historians, and people like Warren Buffett who have long memories: to keep us from drifting off into a haze of mythic beliefs. To keep us honest. ---- But come on. That took me 50 minutes, so your maximum bid comes to around $5 an hour. You won't get quality work at that price - you'll get Indian English. I've got a PhD and two international writing prizes: I want to be paid accordingly.
