Description

“Executive secretary” – word processing

I need the service of a person to whom I can outsource my copywriter, proof reader and layout work. Spell check does not correct the use of a word like “Secession planning” vs. “Succession planning”

I need you to review my correspondence for spelling, gramma, punctuation and to ensure that the content is well organized and easy to understand. So you may need to rewrite things a little. If you can think clearly, Bullshit or use humor it would be great.

Some of correspondence shall be articles which I would like you to set in a type of news letter format using MS publisher and adding color, shading and pictures. Or maybe a power point presentation or two a year.

Other correspondence shall be legal document which you need to edit and understand as a complete document and in context when deciding the meaning of a word.

Topics are mostly Insurance, investment and legal agreements or technical discussions.

With any luck not to many issues will need a rush effort and you will have a day or two or three to attend to an issue.

Each piece would mostly be short - say less that 500 words and it should only take a few minute to check and maybe format nicely.

I am looking at say 10 pieces of work a month but I am willing to agree a minimum monthly retainer regardless of how little work is required and a fee per word per function per effort – or something that we can agree on. After a test faze we can look at a long term relationship. 95 % of the content should be simple and the budget is low but I hope it you are skilled it would only take a minute or five of your time each time.

Please respond to the following :

1. List relevant experience – a degree would be preferred
2. List Ms word and Ms publisher skills
3. Give me your thought on the following – should I split the job or payment method into
a. A editing & proof reading
b. Copywriting
c. Layout
d. Complicated issue (legal agreement) vs. simple article
As different skills and effort is needed is each aspect.
4. List you time zone (I am +5 and/or +2)and preference as to when you can or would like to do the work
5. Have you experience with a corporate image manual.
6. Do you have Software to convert scan documents into MS word
7. Your suggested pricing method
