Description

This is a pilot project. Upon successful completion of this pilot, this can become a continual weekly/monthly project.

We are looking for someone who can provide data entry, research, keyword descriptions and tags to about 500 - 750 key cultural events (arts, music, sports, etc) taking place monthly in the city of Toronto, Canada. Each such event will need to be named, dated, with a description written and tagged with appropriate keywords within specific categories.

You can submit the data to our online system using web form or by providing the details via a pre-formatted CSV file. Sample file attached that outlines the type of information we will be looking for.

The content needs to be collected at least 1 week in advance of the actual events start date or earliest possible date. This is potentially a recurring project that if successful, will provide continual work stream to whoever will prove to do a good job with this initial project.

Ideally your English is flawless, and preferably you are a native English speaker.

Before submitting your bid, please send a personal message with the sample of your work , we can expect you to deliver using the template and data sources we have provided you with. Do not make a bid without showing us an example and we will not respond to bids from people who submit a sample containing spelling errors and/or typos.

Please bid only on the initial 500 events requested in this pilot. The expected turnaround to submit the data for those 500 to 750 events is less than 7 days.

Let's see. 700 entries in 7 days = 100/day 100 / 8hrs = 12.5/hr or 1 every 5.5 minutes. For $200? That's 200 / 56hrs (assuming one can actually produce engaging content in 5 minutes, continually, for 8 hours in a day, for 7 days straight. Equals $3.58/hr. Looks like an overseas job to me..
