You mean that there are people out there who find aspects of politics absurd?! Who knew! In all seriousness, I love politics. The not-so-subtle maneuvering, the outright idiocy, the snarky comments, the pep-rally appearances, the expressions on faces whose owners have just been backed into an uncomfortably tight corner by a savvy and slightly sadistic journalist...I could go on and on! My bid is for 4 articles per week, for a maximum of 16 articles per month. The single difficulty I anticipate is limiting myself to 350 words....ah, well. Oh yeah, I guess I should add that I'm a proud beneficiary of the U.S. Constitution (the document, not the ship)despite the shrinking of my individual freedoms; a native English speaker; blessed with an extensive vocabulary and an excellent command of the English language; and am looking forward to enjoying this project way too much for it to seem like work, should I be selected.
