Hi,

I'm looking for some writers who I work with on a regular basis, hopefully over a long period of time. My company specialises in improving clients' websites, and to do this we require a large volume of writing work to be done. I've previously used another freelancing service, but due to a number of problems I'm migrating to oDesk, and would like to use this as an opportunity to take on some new writers.

I'm used to paying per word rather than per hour, and pay around $5 per 500 words. In my experience it takes about half an hour to write one 500 word article, but in your bid please let me know how much you write per hour. We will start with an introductory period, so please place a bid for 10,000 words to get started, and then if you work well and we get on, the contract will be extended.

When I receive work, I expect it to be free of grammatical and spelling errors, and be done to the specification I gave. If that is done then I only ever ask for amendments to be made if I change the spec, which of course I'd pay for. However, if there are errors with the work you submit, it will need to be corrected in unlogged time.

The sorts of topics I'll ask you to write on will vary hugely, and could be almost anything, so what I'm looking for is someone who writes well and has good research skills, so they can write on topics they have relatively little experience with.

In your bid, please specify anything you believe is relevant, as well as the maximum amount of hours you can work in a normal week, and how much you can write in one hour.

This would be a really easy project for us. Our CEO started this company four years ago and could write 50-73 articles a day and she has trained our writers to TRY and do the same. As of now they cant peak past 40, but they still do pretty darn well! For 10,000 words? This would be a cinch. Im not going to big $15 in case that is what you are hoping for! We are true believers that you get what you pay for. And in this instance? You get a lot!
