Hi I would be very interested doing this project for you. I am a freelance PA based in the UK, my native language is English. I work for a number of clients, covering a broad spectrum of industry, I have a solid PA, and administrative background gained working at Board Level in various companies. I have advanced knowledge of MS Office and I am used to working to deadlines. I realise you would like a provider who has experience in transcribing audio media I have extensive experience in this field over 20 years preparing documents such as tenders, sponsorship documentation, contracts, reports and interviews gained whilst working as PA to some of my current clients. These audio files were long in some instances, needed accuracy, and a very strong attention to detail. For transcribing audio media files, I use Express Scribe with a foot pedal. My hourly rate per audio hour of tape is quoted as $35 or 0.58 cents per audio minute. I am very good at transcribing and provide a cost effective service. I can be contacted easily via email and never turn down work as I am in business and need to earn. Current WPM 70, but accuracy is key so with difficult audio files this may be less. I can turn around a 1 hour audio file in 24 hours easily. I can manage 5 hours of audio a week. I am normally available most of the day/evening as some of my clients are based in foreign countries so I have to allow for time zones. I have experience working with e-books. I have not attached a sample file as I would prefer you to send ne to me so I can work on a project that is relevant to you. I can supply references on request from current clients. I have broadband and DSL connection, core 2 duo laptop, and pedal. I can work from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m. (GMT+8) Monday-Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. (At the end of the day "Turn Round Time" will depend on the quality of the audio: slurred, muddled content and poorly recorded almost inevitably would take longer than clear, crisp and well recorded. Two or more people of the same sex in dialogue would likely take longer than a monologue. We have total recorder to record the calls and joyscribe with the paddler for fast transcription. We work on a 24 hours TAT and the normal time scale for a one hour audio file with take a maximum of four hours to transcribe and one hour for proofing. Hello, I have been into medical transcription for the past 10 years in a company dealing with all types of reports and having HBT experience on Escription platform for the past 2 years working for NCBH. I can transcribe 700 lines/8 hour, which I think will cover one hour's audio. I am online everyday so, there is no question of sending the files late whether it is Stat or ordinary. I have Stedman's series, Quick Look 2005-2006, and Random House for reference and I got UPS, which has 8 hours backup. I am looking for a longterm provider. Kindly reply.

Hi Ladyinred, I have submitted my bid based on 10 hours of audio as requested. So long as speech is clear TAT is around 2 hours per audio hour. I have had over 7 years trascribing and have worked as a personal assistant/office manager for 14 years in total. I am 36 years of age. I cannot provide any samples due to confidentiality but I would be more than happy to trascribe 2-3 mins of any audio you may have, free of charge to enable you to sample my work. I am available at short notice most of the time as I like to be able to be depended upon by my clients. Dear Sir or Madam: Thank you for the opportunity to submit my proposal for your project Long term transcriptionist. Enclosed please find all information relative to my skills and experience, cost, and time estimates. I am an experienced transcriber and have excellent command of the English language both written and spoken. Experience gained working for CC Project Services where I transcribed various TV and movie interviews as well as Market research focus group discussions. This consisted of downloading files from an FTP site in Mp3, Mp4, Real Player or Quick Time formats. These were then transcribed into MS Word documents and sent back within the agreed TAT. I would type out text first then go through it again correcting any errors and inserting time stamps. At some point I also graduated to editing work done by other transcribers following the above process but also downloading their scripts and proof reading them before sending them back to CCPS. Speed was about one audio hour per day and my fee was $25 dollars per audio hour. Payment was via Western Union. If selected my fee will be $20 per audio hour of work done. Access to high speed internet and computer literate in MS Office plus a Diploma in Marketing Management. If selected I will provide reliable, accurate and fast transcription services for your organization and I am able to start immediately.
