Description

To Illustrate a childrens book about a minibus character. I will reuire about 12 illustrations. The books are not sold commercially. They are sponsored and given free to children in Hong Kong and China.
I am a teacher in a Chinese primary school and am not allowed to do any paid activities while under contact. I will approach publishers after my contract exires and any commercial selling of the book will include royalties for the illustrator. I have completed six books so far and have been happy with the work of the illustrators. I am not concerned about reputations or experience as I am quite happy to let people who want the experience do the books.

I only pay $10 per illustration as I am funding the whole exercise from my own pocket. I hope to have 12 books completed by the end of June. This book is 'Ming and the Taikonauts" The story is based around a Chinese space capsule that while returning to earth ( China) is knocked off course by a meteor and lands on top of Ming a Hong Kong minibus. Ming eventually takes it to the Hong Kong space museun where they remove it from his roof and send it back to China. A Taikonaut is a Chinese Astronaut.
